Can someone explain me modes and drives?

Hi, I want to find an explanation for what themodes on my camera are for, the modes are:

P

did you receive a manual w/ the camera?

A - Aperture priority

S - Shutter speed priority

Pm ?

P - full Program automatic

S = Single shot

Ch = Continuous High shooting rate

Cl = Continuous Low shooting rate

Noel, you probably should start by looking in the users manual. If you don't have one, then that would be a real good

thing to get, so you'll get very specific to your camera answers.

Sometimes you can find the user manuals even on line. So doing a Google for one might be a great first step.

Almost all of the Canon cameras have user manuals available on the Canon web site. Free!

A might be Aperture priority, or it might be Auto, both are common uses of the symbol A, so the camera type is real

important and the read-the-manual comment is a good start.
