vlavitz_falken Posted October 19, 2009 Share Posted October 19, 2009 The facts : -When i my reeled my film when it was finished, i thought i had reeled completely, not sure, i went to my roomwhich has almost in the dark to check if the film was still there, to my horror it was still there....! - I developed the color movie in tmax dev which was only intended for b&w movie (i didn't know) The problem: ALL of my images are cut in half , means that i have one half that has a correctly exposed image ,and the rest is completely white , The image is cut in half with a straight vertical line in the middle. The shutter is "capping", the second curtain (cloth) is catching up with the first one way too soon. Probably because the Soviet-era "lubrication" has turned into glue.<br> Of course, depending on where you are and who does it, it may cost more than your Zorki, or more than a working Zorki.<br> They didn't make Zorki's well in the first place, and they didn't use good materials or lubricants.
