garrison_k.
Thanks for letting us know. I'd drop windows in a heart beat if Adobe ported for Linux. But shouldn't there be a Ubuntu forum?
johan_de_groote
Very good Idea, I'm coming... I found this as I was having a question about this right now. There is no need for an Ubuntu forum, Ubuntu is linux so any photo apps for linux run in Ubuntu.
bill_tuthill
Here's a GIMP tip: from the Preferences menu choose Tool Options. Under Scaling Default Interpolation select Sinc (Lanczos) instead of Cubic. This improves resampling results.
ryanjoseph
Good site, thanks for the link. If Photoshop could run in Linux with color profiles it would be a boon, but the GPL complicates the transition of closed source software on open source platforms considerably.
