michael_dimarzio
I d/d's FF 3.0 and it seems pretty nice. Not all of my plugins were compatible, but Dilbert still works. At first blush I like the way it manages bookmarks better, anyone else using it? What do you like better?
dschuleman
About 8 million people downloaded it in the first 24 hours, and it grew to a 4% market share in that time period (just Firefox 3). I tried downloading it when it first was available, but, unfortunately, Mozilla's servers went down for 2 hours. I love it, and have been using it since the second beta. I think the best feature is just how pages load faster. I also love the "smart bar". -Danny PS: Check out http://www.cnet.com/firefox-3/?tag=cnetfd.mt for all the information you could want on FF
leicaglow
I've been using it for awhile. I was going to download it again yesterday just for the record, but kept getting service denied. If I point it to godaddy.com and bounce around, it will crash in short order. Also, my favorite addons don't work with 3.0 yet, but it is definitely faster. emre
The smart bar is fabulous. Opera 9.5 is also out...
JDMvW
Yep, I'm using it too. In fact, up until I tried to load this page, it was working much faster than the version 2 I was using before. For some reason this one hung on "admanager" - damn these ad servers--they really need to get their act together.
borek_lupomesky
Also, it <A HREF="http://www.robgalbraith.com/bins/content_page.asp?cid=7-9311-9478">supports colour management</A>. There's number of new features, but I am probably most excited about the new address bar.
martijn_houtman
I don't really like the address bar, but the speed improvements and memory management alone are worth the switch. Firebug extension also works, so I'm a happy camper :) Also a lot of improvements on the Mac version (feels more native now).
daverhaas
had one of the beta versions and wasn't impressed.... For now I'm sticking to 2.x
kari v
I started from RC2. Speed and memory upgrades are well worth it.
dennis_oconnor4
I downloaded about 2:30 in the afternoon... No problems, only a couple of pauses as the server dug it's way out of a pile up... I seems a bit faster than IE... I'm not a power user - like my son who will have 20 to 30 websites open at a time - so it is probably wasted on me... I mostly downloaded to help light a fire (fox) under Billy G... It is easy enough to use, even for an old fart like me... denny
Spearhead
I've been running it since it was available with no problems.<p><i>they really need to get their act together.</i><P>Who needs to get their act together? kevinteo
Seems more stable than Safari and more standards compliant too.
phule
I've been using it since Beta 3. The speed increase is very nice, especially on my older machine.

cabbiinc
You may want to be careful where you surf with FireFox (and any other browser for that matter really). A vulnerability that affects both Firefox 2 and 3 has been leaked. http://www.infoworld.com/article/08/06/19/Firefox_3_vulnerability_found_1.html You need to visit a "malicious website" for it to be a real problem. JDMvW
Jeff, I would have thought that the sentence was clear. But just for you, I'll specify that the "they" was referring to the various ad management and server programs, all of which seem to be broken or crippled right now. Mozilla does just fine, in my opinion.
