travis1
been awhile since I hit my local temple. A pleasant suprise was that the senior priests actually asked me why I didn't appear for so long ;) Nothing much changed except all of them appeared a little older.. have a look
blakley
Nice as usual, Travis. I like the way your style works in the color shots. Great choice of music as always.
jose_angel
Better than usual. The music fits with the end of the presentation, now is rounded. I like the colors of some portraits.
jtk
Inspires curiosity and attention. I like what happened with the sounds when you stepped outside...interesting contrast to the sounds inside. Far better imagery than individual snaps of homeless, bugs, flowers, holidays etc. This was great too: http://lancey.photomalaysia.com/dreams2/

jack_lo_..._t_o
So many things you do that I am critical of others for: the black/purple colour cast, intense grain & blur, etc., but your vision and your artistry is so strong I put my critic's cap on the shelf and enjoy the show. clive1
Best I've seen so far of yours Travis, although the music could be more one way of the other (e.g. an evening raga or something by Black Star Liner). The colours are very close to the results often achieved through hand-colouring, and they remind me of the many hand-coloured photos I've seen in India. Excellent! ________1
A lot of good shots for one nights outing. I liked the music, too.
travis1
thx! I recycled the music very often though. Still doubtful about copyright issues with regards to the music. Would giving proper credit to the artiste be sufficient to use their music? Not sure.
preston_merchant
You do great work, Travis. I pop back into the Leica forum every now and then just to see what you've posted. If you really want to make this stuff work, you should record your own soundtrack. Using someone else's music, even with attribution, is still a copyright violation and really doesn't enhance your photos. It doesn't take expensive equipment to record ambient sound or an interview for your soundslides presentation. The presentation should be wholly your own. I love the Singapore temples. Here's my offering, right back at you: http://archive.prestonmerchant.com/gpgs.aspx?pgid=13578699&e=0&p=
travis1
Thx Preston. Maybe a software that allows me to create digital music might work. Have to google it. So I see we have been to the same temple ;) Nice.
