jesse_whittle_utter
Hello, Young, smart, enthusiastic and talented burgeoning professional digitalphotographer available for assistantship/apprenticeship in or around SouthBristol, Maine from June 10 - August 25th. I am interested in learning hands-on from an established professionalphotographer or artist working with digitally captured images. In particular, Iam looking to develop my skills in the areas of studio lighting, digital editing(basic principles and Photoshop skills), diverse camera formats, technicalknowledge (of equipment such as lenses, polarizers, filters), and a generalknowledge of how a professional studio works. Portraiture, event/wedding,advertising, nature and fine art photography are all appealing fields, though Ihave stronger leanings toward fine art and nature photography. I have had a keen interest in photography for 10 years now, and in the last yearhave made the decision to bring my skills up to a professional level. I amlargely self-taught, with working knowledge of both traditional film and digitalcapture and development techniques. Over the years I have developed asubstantial body of personal work, which to date has been included in twointernational exhibits. I am proficient in Adobe Creative Suite 3, usinghigh-end digital SLR cameras, and am comfortable working in a Mac or PC environment. In exchange for an opportunity to strengthen these skills, I will providededicated and reliable assistance with any aspect of operating your studio thatyou deem necessary. I don't mind grunt work, as long as it's balanced with somehands-on opportunities to learn. My availability will be part-time and my hoursare flexible. Compensation is negotiable; if it's the right fit, I am happy towork for free. I can provide a resume, examples of my work, and references upon request. I lookforward to hearing from you, Jesse
