j_logan Posted May 13, 2008 Share Posted May 13, 2008 I'm based in New York City and am looking for a place to purchase a used 40D body. I was thinking about going to B&H; but, I've heard that they tend to inflate the ratings on their used equipment and that there are better places in the City to pick up a used body in good condition. I'm planning using this camera as an "intro to digital" and for possible freelance work on the weekends for a good 5 - 6 months before purchasing a new body (5D or higher) and retiring this one as a back-up.
