john_lorenzini
Hello, I have a Profoto acute 2R pack and for some reason the bracket knob is not lining up properly when turned. In fact it seems totally out of alignment with the painted on bracketing symbols. How can I fix this? I don't know what caused this especially because I bought the pack used. Could the knob have been forced and so is now loose or broken? I haven't yet shot with the pack so I don't know if this issue is causing the wrong exposure. Lastly can the knob be unscrewed and realigned or would it require a pro repair? Please help before I just send it in for repair. Thank you John
JAPster
John, can you upload a closeup picture of the device?

stephen_ratzlaff
Easy fix. The knob has a small hex screw in the back (the opposite side from the white marking). Just find the correct size hex wrench and tighten and you're good to go.
stephen_ratzlaff
I should mention, there is a hole on the opposite side where the screw resides. loosen the screw, align the white mark with the correct bracket mark, tighten, and then you're good to go.
