And I'm not sure which forum to post the question in, so I'll try here: Is it acceptable practice on Photo.net to mention, in the appropriate forum, a new classified ad posting? Say I have some Olympus gear for sale and I place an ad in the Classifieds; is it then OK to mention the ad in the Olympus forum? I don't mean repeating the ad, just a few words to the effect that the ad has been placed, so that Oly users would know about it. This is standard practice on another forum that I frequent (not photography), but I don't think I've seen it done here since I've been a member.
