arjun_mehra
Looking for a Zeiss Pancolar in Exakta mount. The only thing I care about is the front cell. Really, it's just the front element that's important, but, it would be nice if the entire front cell were good. This element/cell must be in excellent condition: no fungus, scratches, haze, etc. Other than this, I don't care if the aperture's busted, the locking pin's missing, the focusing's tight -- it doesn't matter to me. If you have what I need, please, contact me soon. Thanks. *Lens must be a ZEISS PANCOLAR -- please, no Exaktars.
dan_fromm2
Arjun, have you considered looking on ebaydotde?
bueh
Why don't you buy one in the M42 screw mount? The glass elements should be exactly the same(?).
User_502260
There is or was an eBay seller with the name cupog who was in Eastern Europe and who had many nice Exakta items.
arjun_mehra
I've been checking eBay.com as well as eBay.de for the past many days, and haven't found anything. One auction's around, but it's very highly priced (for me). I'm aware of Cupog (I've bought from him in the past), but he doesn't currently have any Pancolars for sale. I'd rather not risk getting one in a different mount: every millimeter matters with these things. Anyone on Photo.net? Thanks.
l._david_tomei1
Arjun, Have you seen the one ending in three days on eBay? An f/1.8 50mm Zeiss Pancolar with an Exakta mount. David
miha_steinb_cher
David, It's an Exakta RTL lens. Same basic mount, but no auto diaphragm function on Exakta Varex. BTW, Pancolar 1,8/50 (common in M42, also available in Exakta RTL) is not the same as Pancolar 2/50. Best regards, Miha
arjun_mehra
L. David, the 1.8/50 Pancolar is not for the Exakta (Varex) system. Miha, got a 2/50 Pancolar you want to get rid of...? *How does the 2/50 compare with the 1.8/50, technically?
