How do I use a Polaroid back?

Sorry for the dumb question. I have never used one and just acquired a used

medium format. I shoot mostly 35mm - and have never used one on it as well. I am

not sure how to go about using the polaroid back. I've used a regular polaroid

camera but not a back.

Can anyone tell me how to use one? Once connected to the camera do I just fire

the camera as I do with regular film and pull the polaroid out, peel right away?

Am I missing any step (or if there is a resource online for this).

Thanks!

In case it's not clear (it wasn't for me), don't try to feed anything through the rollers when you load the back. All of the tabs, including the white tab, lay on top of the rollers when you close the back. Pull on the white cardboard tab to load the first film and reveal the paper tab. Pull on the black paper tab to develop the shot you've just taken (and load the next film).

Thanks everyone! It was helpful and it worked successfully.

Edward, thanks, yes that was a bit confusing at first.

JDM, I used the FUJI FP-100c on a Polaroid back and it worked. I use the 6x4.5 format and it's less than the Polaroid cost. Hopefully Fuji keeps producing it.
