I need a web site

Hi all. Any advice on how to go about getting a great photography web site? I'm

willing to spend some money, but I need to find someone that is dependable and

makes quality (preferably Flash) sites that look great.

I would be willing to help. Im not a professional but play around with web design alot. I could help you with an install that would allow you to manage the look, feel and content without having to change any of the coding. There are plenty of good flash web albums available as well. You can check out www.chadlatta.com for an example. Its a work in progress and still under construction, so keep that in mind!

Do you have an OS X MAc? iWeb (built into OS X 10.4 and OS X 10.5) is a very good way to get started. see Kirk Tuck's site which is built using iWeb: http://www.kirktuck.com .

Also look into LiveBooks (http://www.livebooks.com )

one other thing, you could <a href=" http://www.powweb.com/join/index.bml?AffID=570180">check out this provider</a>.... its fairly inexpensive with your own domain name included and they have plenty of storage and free script installs.

There are about 5 photo gallery scripts as an option, one being flash based. There is a demo <a href="http://www.airtightinteractive.com/photos/">here</a> with plenty more advanced options.

If anyone else is looking at this posting, another photographer specific web development

company is www.intothedarkroom.com. They have web sites, slidesharing, proofing. It's a

great company with good customer service. I just can't use them because I am trying to

look quite a bit different from another photographer I work with and that's who they use.
