I couldn't find anything on Voightlander Heliars, however, I know quite a bit about these 5 element lenses. I believe that Harting of Voightlander created this lens however Dallmeyer screamed that they did it. Dallmeyer called theirs the Pentac and both these lenses were highly prized. The company which did the best job of these very difficult to design lenses was Eastman Kodak. Their Microfile Ektar was superb as was their 50mm and 75mm enlarging Ektars. Their first design was the the lens for the Medalist cameras, they were in a league by themselves.

The problems in design were really tough and when we could do computer designs with newer optical glasses, the plasmat became the lens of choice for many applications, I can't think of any Heliar/Pentac lenses being made now.

For your lens, if it is uncoated whether natural or artificial there is a tremendous difference. The uncoated lenses are pretty low in contrast (I have one), but at their best they are great.
