kohanmike
I'm using a Seagate 8g microdrive and find that it does not eat up the battery at all. I get a good 900 or more shots on a charge on my D70s without flash. I just bought an off brand (A-Data) 4g 266x card from Fry's in Burbank, CA for $45. After a quick test, I find that the 4g is a bit faster shooting then the Seagate, about 9-10 continuous frames before a pause, where the Seagate had a pause at about 6-7 frames, all jpg fine. The 8g card will hold about 1100 raw, and over 2200 jpg fine, 6.1 mp.
derek_thornton
I am not one to copy what others do, personally I use the Sandisk Ultra2, 2 GB. I have noticed that a lot of the "so called" pros, like Shaw and Moose use Lexar 133x CF Cards. My guess is that these cards are very good. josh_standon
Great discussion. I think I will get a 4G card, maybe 8G if I can find a sale.
