christian_scarnici1
Hi everyone: I am just looking for some feedback (positive or negative I am here to learn) on a recent high school basketball shoot I went on. Thanks for your time Christian<div></div>
christian_scarnici1
Sorry for the large file. I can't figure out how to post them smaller. Christian<div></div>

helen_horsley1
Christian, I think it's a great shot. Like the intensity and the angles. The color looks good. I like the areas of sharpness and how they pop. Very nice. I just posted a question about lenses. I can appreciate shooting in high school gyms. What lens were you using when you shot this? It looks grainy. I experimented in Photoshop (CS2) today and couldn't figure out if "reduce noise" or "despeckle" helped more. Anyone have luck with either of these reducing grain? Thanks for sharing your image. Helen Horsley
morganfam7
I think your shots are great! I, too, would be interested in the EXIF data for these photos. My shots aren't nearly as nice yet. Great work with focus. The faces are clear! Awesome!
kelly_s1
Great shots--if it were me, I would frame the first and third ones differently, though. (Obviously, this is completely personal preference.) Especially when the players are in the air, I like to have shoes and a bit of the ground to give some context/show the athleticism of being two feet above everyone else. Or on the third one, if you're going for just an expression shot (and it's a really good one for that) then you don't need so much extra space around your Commerce player. My opinions. =)
designonline
Your white balance looks a little off. You could also run them Noise Ninja to smooth out the grain a little bit. Action and composition look nice, though.
