jonathan_mehring
I have been shooting Type 79 a lot recently and have been experiencing a mottled uneven look to the emulsion after it dries hard. This uneven look disappears in some light but when I scan them the images are completely unusable. Any suggestions on how to avoid this? The film is up to date and it has occurred on film from multiple boxes. The development of the image seems even.
Troll
Have you called Polaroid? Believe it or not, they will actually speak with you, and are usually helpful about problems.

aaron_muderick
Are you leaving the print in the open to dry or pressing it between pages of paper. I've had this problem with the 'finish' on the print when I stack them or put them in a notebook to protect them in the field. It is true, Polaroid's technical support is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Almost too good to be true in this era of useless call centers. bart feliciano
Could you post a sample of a problematic polaroid also? Have you used the same holder on all the film you've tried?
