Rob_the_waste
I got the scanner working. I don't know what it was, but who cares. Here are some more of the pics from the car same car show as the shots from the Ikonta.

Rob_the_waste
I stand corrected. What do I know, I drive a Mazda. I'm just glad I can tell my cameras apart. ;-)

tito sobrinho
Nice pictures from the Yashica A. I love old cameras as well as old cars. The pictured car, is a 1959 Thunderbird with a 1960 Thunderbird's grille.
ralf_j.
Good shots Rob. The t-bird is my favorite, my cousin had an '86 turbo which we shared during our college years. I nostalgically recall the awesome rush when I used to floor the pedal :-). Too bad he had to get rid of it because of annoying electrical faults. chuck_foreman1
Rob, Glad you sorted the scanner out! The 6000P is an old classic! The main problem is always the 15V power adapter! I've replaced hundred of 'em here at Mustek EU. I still get calls for this item! Anything else just junk it.. no parts no support etc!! I have the Yashica B,D and Mat. I still like the D best. The later Yashicamat 124 (pre-G) with meter is not that much better. I'm dogged by flare and I hate that the focus is on the left after using the others for so long! It's supposed to have a better lens... nah ya... I'm with Franklin, classic cars and cameras a good match!
richard_oleson
That's the second time recently I've heard someone mention preferring the focus on the right. I had always thought that the preferred position was on the left, freeing the right hand for the shutter release and the wind knob/crank, and that Rollei had only put the focus on the right on the Rolleicord to keep the camera from becoming excessively wide due to the knobs sticking out of both sides.... :)=
