roderick_white1
Hello all, do you have recomendations here? Not sure whether macro, prime, etc and while money is important i could go higher for equal quality. Thank You - Rod
chris_kedrowski
too vague, give more info, if you want a cheap 100mm macro, vivitar makes a pretty good lens (I own one)

roderick_white1
I will use it on my 40D. These photos will primarily be for stock/saleable use. However I do enjoy the flowers personally. I am just not sure whether or not i should step up to macro or keep using my 17-40... will it make a huge difference? digitmstr
A T/S ;ens would be MY preference (like the Hartblei Super Rotator T/S) - otherwise, the Canon EF 100 f/2.8 MACRO is an excellent lens for this type of work.
William Michael
I think along the same lines as Giampi. Please read this, it is just a few lines down from yours: http://www.photo.net/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=00Mddl WW
