brian_prestemon
I just obtained an original Rollei leather strap for my '52 Rollei MX-EVS TLR only to find that it doesn't seem to fit. The clip fitting on the end of the strap doesn't seem to fit through the slot on the side of my camera. Then I tried just clipping it onto the post from the side (without going through the slot) but the clip mechanism doesn't seem to fit under and around my camera's post either. I figured as long as I got an original Rollei strap I'd be fine. Were there various design sizes of the Rollei strap overtime or what else could explain my problem? It seems like the fittings on the strap I got are just a little to thick to slip through the slots and likewise just a bit to thick to slip under the head of the attachment post. Any help/input would be very appreciated. Thanks, Brian
patric_dahl_n
The 3,5B (MX-EVS), 2,8C and 2,8D use an earlier strap: It's not easy to find. You could also use a nylon strap without clips. john_elder1
Brian, I have the strap you need as dscribed in the thread by Patrick. If you want it e-mail me. I never used it and it is in good condition. I bought it by mistake thinking it would fit another Rollei.
