michael_macdougall
Okay so I bought this used. It was traded in at the store that I work at for a 50mm f1.2 canon lens. Now I knew there was problems with it. The back was filthy. He did not take good care of the back. But to get a 503cxi, 80mm f2.8 C, back and prism finder for $380 I couldn't pass it up. Now I put a test roll through it a few days ago and had it developed at a local lab. Here are two photos from the same roll. Please ignore the horrible composition and quality. Very poor scans. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v451/he_died_trying/?action=view¤t=26910002.jpg And then there is this photo http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v451/he_died_trying/?action=view¤t=26910004.jpg Now the other photos do not have as bad of light leaks. Half of the film has nothing exposed on it at all. Do you have any suggestions towards wether it was the back or the body that caused this? I picked up a different back and put a roll of black and white through it. But I have to wait for it to get back which takes 10 business days so I wont be able to find out for quite some time wether it was the back for sure or if it's a problem with the curtain/seal.
