stephen_lumsden
Hi I have a Kiev 35mm/6*6 projector, but it seem to be projecting a bit too brightly. I find that all my slides are about .5 - 1 stop too bright. I am certain my initial exposures were right (checked them on the lightbox and another projector). The projector is also set on the weaker setting, but its still too much. Any ideas? regards Stephen

gene_e._mccluney
You could use a neutral density filter in front of the projector lens to reduce the light output, however if you see overly light washed out highlights with little or no detail in your slides, then you have overexposed the film when you took the pictures, and no amount of light reduction will bring back detail that wasn't recorded on the film.
