York Photo Telephone Number

Does anyone have the telephone number for York Photo Labs.? I need to contact

them about an order I placed, and they seem to be having some trouble getting

back to me by e-mail... Their phone number doesn't appear to be anywhere on

their Web site, either. I'd very much appreciate it. Thank you.

They have had one satisfied customer in the last 6 months, per http:/www.resellerratings.com. I'm not sure what that means.

First, it seems that customer used them for digital work. Second, he's the only one who's rated them, so it's not as though it's "one out of eight million." Third, telephone number...? Please -- :D. Thank you.

Try contacting District Photo in Beltsville MD at (301) 937-5300. Clark/District owns lots of

formerly independent photo developers and is the outfit that processes 35 mm print film that

is sent via Kodak mailers. Don't get your hopes up. I'll bet the reason no number is listed is

because they don't want a lot of calls about subpar developing. Good luck!

 

I used to live not too far from the District plant and took print film there--results varied. My

guess is that the York business goes through he Maryland plant like most other low cost

developing.

If you have any doubt about York and Clark (and District) being the same, check out the

pages above. I believe the address on the York mailers gets your film sent to WVA. For Clark

it is MD. It all probably gets developed in the same place.

Keep sending emails. They are a deep discount processing house, so you get the service that you pay for. I use them for some of my film, but not the more important stuff.

You peeked! One glowing review out of one doesn't mean much does it :-D Next time, check first or take it to a local camera shop.

Just wanted to add that they also use snapfish's labs(or the other way around?). District also has something to do with seatle film works.

I got in contact with York. Also, yes, it seems Clark and York, I believe two distinct companies, share the same facilities (as I was told by my customer-service person). Thanks, everyone.
