nano_burger
Excellent. I've microwaved quite a few CD's in my day (as a way to destroy the info on them). There is a definite difference between CD-R's, CD-RW's, and glass pressed CD's (the commercial variety). The glass pressed ones have the most dendritic look. This is the best way to treat those AOL CD's you get in the mail.
johnnycake_.1
Patrick! As the fireworks started immediately, I didn't have a chance. Next time I'll be ready but I don't expect much as the photo will be through the microwave 'window.' Daniel! That was my first microwaved DVD-R. [i customarily just 'snap' CDs and DVDs in half...] As I find my result intriguing, I am interested in your 'experiments.' In particular, which 'brand' gave the "most dendritic look?"
