todd frederick
I bought a very nice 250 in box with instructions and flashes for $20 from a thrift store, and then I had to order the correct battery for another $10, and the film for about $12. It can be a touch expensive, but it's more fun to use it. Sample from my 250 of our barn.<div></div>
todd frederick
Here's a site with many photos taken with a PL 330. In my opinion they have more personal value when used to take photos than monitary value when sold. If you plan to use it I have a site for a new battery (#532). It has a 3 element glass lens. http://www.flickr.com/photos/defekto/sets/1179045/ See here also: http://polaroids.theskeltons.org/d330.htm

john_shriver
Just to set the mindset, realize that many Polaroid cameras were deliberately sold at a loss by Polaroid. The money was in the film. Just like Gillete, the money is in the blades, not the razor. Polaroid cameras were also extraordinarily popular in the 1970's. mark_hahn
yeah, and you'd be lucky to get $5 for it! (hahaha! sorry!) I have a 360 that I use occasionally, Polaroids really are a lot of fun... especially for b&w and the cost is kinda around the same price as commercial b&w processing (etc.) so you can almost justify it... but really, it's the fun. My digital age kids think the 360 is very cool when I take it out... fwiw...
chuck_foreman1
Hi, I think Mark's right.. They're a lot of fun and blow your mind! I don't have an overview of the models, but I got one from my cousin, which I cleaned up, put in a battery and bought film for it. There were two flashbulbs and the one roll I shot through it brought a lot of attention. I was struck buy how good the B&W looked. I never did buy another roll of film and now (5 years later) I probably have to buy another battery too! I'd shoot it and see what ya get!
