chuck_foreman1
Hi All, I've recently seen postings of Fashion photography where the model is holding some favorite piece and we've either been asked to identify or at least speculate on the merits of this use of our favorite objects... cameras I mena!! Well I was recently approached by the Aldi Sports and Casual wear group to represent their Fall collection... I thought I'd bringing one of my classics to the photoshoot would be appreciated... they used the Hassy despite my generous offer!.... Jsut kiddin'! I needed a magnifier to read the Model name.. those that know it of course will recognize it immediately. I didn't! Does this really have a crank winder like a Rollei? The color scheme is nice too... I see one mentioned in Sandra Toth's listing as well... Comments welcome! .. BTW I bought the shirt for four Euros just to post it here!<div></div>
todd frederick
It's a Kodak Duoflex. That not a rapid winder. Not sure of the function never having used one. They go for about $10 on eBay. I think I have one around here somewhere.
todd frederick
Sorry, Duaflex. Probably a brown plastic model IV. Not all have the chrome arm. sw12dz
I've got one of those! Todd is correct. It is a Duaflex IV and that is not a winding arm. It's just a piece of metal trim that runs between the shutter release button and the winder knob.<div></div>
sw12dz
I did a post about the Duaflex earlier in the year. http://www.photo.net/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=00Ko4J
