Um, no.

 

Proper training in engineering makes you aware that there are several ways to skin a cat, and the "right" way depends on the specifics of the project (cost/schedule/performance).

 

If I were to generalize, it is engineers who are most comfortable with ambiguity and the lack of four digit precision in the real world. They're comfortable with it because they realize it's pointless to fight it.
