Probably it's just that more of this audience has finally realized your genius, Dennis. I've also just put you up for both a Pulitzer and Nobel Prize (Category: Really Cool Pictures Of Bugs). But seriously, it's nice that you're checking with Josh on this. Pollution in the ratings is bad enough with this new sort. Good catch.

My son and I posted a ROute 66 shot each and both were sub 4 average unil this afternoon...now both are mid 5's and 8 7's....<p> Thanks Matt for the kind words, tho!

Dennis gets kudos for his email to me. I have't had a chance to delete the bogus ratings. But he is right, they are bogus. All appeared about the same time I deleted fake ratings last month.

I think I got an 'anonymous' rating about 3 days after I posted an image. It had not even garnered 5 anonymous ratings to stay in the voting stream of the TRP...so I can only surmise it was a rogue (bogus) vote.<br>PS. It was a lowly 4/4 vote ~ but I've sorta resigned myself to the vagaries and anomalies of ANY anonymous ratings. It would be nice to get the system 'cleaned out' though.

After the famous 3/3 rater, now the bogus rater comes into play. This is kind of funny, whilst the main problems of PN are actually the small number of ratings and the low frequency of quality comments. As long as the rating system remains the same, topics about bots, 3/3 raters and bogus accounts will be always trendy.
