Manuel, RAW formats are proprietary to the camera manufacturer and even to the specific camera model. Each one is different and really for best results requires a software that is designed for that specific camera.

PSP 10 will open RAW files from my Minolta but will not open files from my Nikon. I am surprised that PSP 9 will even open any RAW file. Even though PSP 10 will open the Minolta RAW files the adjustments available are below par compared to a dedicated RAW software. I use RawShooter Essentials (which was a free program) for the Minolta and Capture NX for the Nikon RAW files.

PSP 9 has some great features, just not for working with RAW files. All of the photographs in my portfolios were corrected, manipulated or converted in PSP from versions 7 through 10.
