mbakerphotography
My SD cards work great- until I try to format them. I turn it on and it says "This card is not formatted. Format card?" I say yes. It blinks and says [For] stops blinking and continues to say [For] but never stops. What's wrong with them?
nels
Most likely the card is not meant to be used in your camera. Some 4GB SD cards won't work in certain models of cameras, and you have to have SDHC format. e.g. my Transcend 4GB SD card that works in Canon A620 won't work in Panasonic LX-2 or Panasonic FX-30. The Pana models require SDHC format for anything over 2GB. What camera do you have?
Spearhead
If you are still using the D50, it doesn't support SDHC, just as Nels suggests. Music and Portraits Blog: Life in Portugal
