Is it worth moving from PC to Mac?

None. I went through the startup files using MSconfig and looked each one up to see what they did. Obviously this was a known worm, but Norton ignored it. Scary.

did you build your computer from scratch or purchase from a vendor? If you purchase from a vendor, then I recommend you format your harddrive and install a new copy of window xp-pro on it. Don't install junk on your pc if you dont need it or shutdown it start-up process to free up cpu processes and memories. I have p2.2 and 1.5gb of ram and it still running good for me.

Edward, you may want to click in RUN, type in TEMP and delete all of your temp files, also get rid of your cookies, and get rid of the temp files under CLEANUP. You didn't get rid of the worm mass mailer by deleting it from msconfig. Email me if you need help. Regards, Bob

hehe, just tested this quad core. A shade over 500 RAW's convered to jpeg. About 20 minutes. God I wish this computer was mine. Now I need to go buy a quad core!

I would upgradethe Mother board with newer AMD CPU like FX64 dual core for under$600.
