kristina_kendall
Hello I am a blond and still learning my camera:) I have read the manuals and can't figure it out. When I use my sb 800 flash on my d200 the flash repeats several times before firing. I don't want to use this feature. I have switched flash to different modes and no difference. I have switched the flash to my d70 and no such problems. Has anyone had this problem, how do you correct. thanks for your help Kristina
sleake
I was JUST reading this: http://www.photo.net/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=00KZ12 May not be your issue, but a place to start.
bsd230
I think that is red eye reduction you might make sure that it's off.
paul beiser
My guess is that Brian is correct. Another thing to do is to 'reset all' on the SB-800 - I'm a redhead not sure how to do it, but I bet it is there :-)
erik_loza
Any chance you are pressing the DOF preview button during these moments?
Peter_in_PA
I've got brown hair, but not much left, and I think that red-eye is on on the flash, NOT the camera. Kristina, rest assured, though, that I'm sure you have more fun than me. ;-)
