brian_walsh7
anybody ever buy anything off of bwayphoto.com?? their prices seem a little too good to be true. especially on a new d200 for $1166.00 when a 'refurb' is $1150.00. why would anyone buy a refurb for $1150.00 when they could have a new for $16 more? something seems fishy. anybody vouch for 'em???? hugh_davis
www.resellerratings.com gives them a 0.8, i.e., less than 1, out of 10. I wouldn't buy from them...
paul_ferrante
this should answer your question: http://www.ripoffreport.com/results.asp?q1=ALL&q4=&q6=&q3=&q2=&q7=&searchtype=0&submit2=Search%21&q5=broadway+photo&Search=Search it is slow loading so be patient. B'way photo is one of many New York, New Jersey rip-off companies using multiple names and bait & switch tactics. They will take your order then send you an email saying that you have to phone them to confirm your order. They will then try to sell you a bunch of crap you don't need at extremely inflated prices. If you say no, your item will "be on back order" forever.
andrew_schank
Just got mine from B&H with USA warranty for a tad over $1300 with inexpensive shipping (about $20 all the way to CA). I learned a long time ago that the ad prices listed by almost all of these low ball operations are pure fiction-nothing more. No One has bought a D200 from them for $1166. tri-x1
Costco was selling it for $1,399 on line but has bumped the price back to $1,499 (after $100 rebate)
Jerry_
"their prices seem a little too good to be true." Why not try and get one at that price? Be sure to use a quality credit card so you have some recourse if the deals turns smelly. If you are get what you ordered, post your results here for the public to read of your transaction... mikep
I wouldn't either. They are a very sleazy operation to say the least. Great advice above and here, well worth the $150 you think you're saving.

kfoster70
Your 1st clue about bwayphoto.com is that they want $61.22 to ship the camera UPS ground. Thats and easy $40 bucks to much. And take a look at their prices for compact flash cards. A 2gb CF card for $749? Wow, thats only a $700 mark up. If you think your going to get that D200 for $1166 without overpaying for something else, think again. These guys are total scam artist's
Peter_in_PA
Andrew writes "Why not try it and see?" You're joking, right? Give your Credit Card number to someone who has that kind of rating? Not mine...
andrew robertson
I think my point was, why does one even have to ask in the first place?
