hi, i've been searching around a little but havent really found what i am

looking for. do any of you photographers, who may also write, know if there is

a site similar to photo.net but for poetry, where you can share and browse

others work, and create a portfolio. thanks everyone

I don't know for sure. Poetry magazine has a legitimate site where you might ask. There are a couple of vanity sites that exploit people, but my info isn't current. Take some pictures, put them in portfolio, and write haiku in the technical comments field. You can post 5 for free. See what happens.

I think deviantart.com has what you may be looking for.... it's not just photos but a whole lot everything. I've found the crowd there to be a bit young for my taste, but it's still a decent site.

Those ones work, but I've also seen http://www.fictionpress.com/ which mixes in poetry with fiction, but you can share your writing and have it viewable from your profile or from a recent update page. No forums that I know of.

I am a poet and a photographer. I have been posting my poetry for critique to a variety of poetry boards; there are a lot and very tough. No chance to have your poetry portfolio, though. The solution can be a Blog where you can post both your portry and upload your images and create an archive online.
