Brad_
In terms of readability, it's a big step backward. Loose leading (line spacing) makes it much more diffilcult reading even small paragraphs of text. And the bolding of the date/time competes way to strongly with the body text - your eyes wander up from the much more important body text. There's really no need for the date/time to be bold. Look at the way information is presented on news sites; like the NYT, CNN, BBC News, Yahoo, etc... www.citysnaps.net
jessica_allison1
<B> TORFIN and BRAD,</B> I suppose if folks haven't been using computers for 20 yrs, they don't really know what stoneage means, looks like or acts like. Choosing AOL is a great example of a bad choice but I'm sure the choice was dollar driven, not quality driven.<P>As for the <I>"Photo.net needs money to run"</I>, have a great product and you can raise the membership fees.<P>I hate to say that I'm fairly new to this site due to reading about changes to come ~ here they are and a lot will need to change before I pay.<P>How many of you have looked at other Photo Communities and the look and interface? Some don't have a lot of glitz but are very polished in a basic way.<P>Jessica

arash khoshghadam
The new look is GREAT, but certainly not as great as adding some more options like " Give this person a gift subscription " and the e-mail window which opens making it a cinch to send e-mail. Thanks to all the guys backstage who are striving to improve this environment.
