When to quit working on an image.

The problem is we have different taste .I may change something and do more harm to it, at the same time you should be the best judge and no go only by others critique. I discovered I can stay for hours and hours and do only bad .and someday I can do in 1 hour what I can't do on other days in 1 week. The best way to go is stay away for a while, but don?t give up the thoughts about it .Only when you get a better idea and vision of it go back and try out. I feel the same...

I suppose it's possible to get obsessed, but with digitals after I've taken sixteen pictures and none of them look right, I just giv eup and realize that the shot just may not work.
