photo.net has transformed?

photo.net transformed in front of my eye's!

I have not decided if I like the new look yet? The old simple layout was an

attraction to me. But I'm happy to see black text on white background is

retained.

To keep the post slightly Nikon related it reminds me of the firmware update to

my D70. But then I did like the new style menu.

One of my favorite comic strips is "One Big Happy." A few years ago the little girl Ruthie was walking along with grandpa and said something like, "Grandpa, I don't like change."

Grandpa replied, "Well, sure, Ruthie, it isn't always easy to accept change but it's part of life."

To which Ruthie responds, "Nope, folding money, green dollars, that's what I like. Not change."

(My apologies for paraphrasing - too lazy to look up the original.)

I have just one problem with the new format that may be fixable, but I don't know what the fix is. The site used to fit my 19 inch monitor left to right. Now it's wider making me have to scan to scan right to reach what's been cut off. Is anyone else having that problem, and if so, can tell me how to correct it?

I like the "Contribute An Answer" input box is now on the same

page as the thread similar to blogs.

I'm having a problem, though, with margins. The main forum

departments section view now squishes the lines of text to form

line breaks the width of an inch. Considerable scrolling is

required.

I hope this isn't an "Mac IE isn't a supported browser" issue or a

JavaScript upgrade problem. It was all working fine yesterday

with the new look so I don't see how that could be the cause.
