radek_hensler
Hi to everyone. After I saw a couple of photos on the web from a combination Acros and NeofinBlue, I'm really fascinated with it.I was digging through the forum looking for more information about Neofin Blauin general and ways of processing Acros in it but I'm still confused. Times thatI found are so different that it doesn't help mi actually.Would you tell me about your experience in processing Fuji Acros (35mm) inNeofin Blau in typical tank processing??All I need is time I could start with working this out and dilution.I will appreciate any clue and advice.RegardsRadek

georg_kern
Neofin Blau is a highly compensating developer, so different development times do not give much different contrast. That might be the reason for the broad range of times in the net.
javi_l1
Neofin is more an acutance one rather than a compensating developer: http://www.apug.org/forums/archive/index.php/t-33929.html
jtk
Javi's reference to acutance is right. It's sharper than most developers and, with relatively small prints (11x17 from 35) it's only lightly grainy. It's a good alternative to Rodinal IMO.
