21 DA will it work on 35mm

I know some of the DA's work (and work quite well) on film bodies. I like the

21DA because my Sigma 20mm is a beast that I dread taking with me. It is also

fairly unusable at 1.8. So I'd lose nothing going with the 3.2 21mm except a lot

of bulk in my camera bag

 

Anyway, will the 21mm work on a film body (one that has body controlled

aperture) and has anyone used this lens on a film body? Can you post a few shots

or link to them.

It will vignette on 35mm, it's designed for the APS-sized digital sensor. Some have used the DA 40mm and 70mm successfully on 35mm, but not the 21mm.

Thanks, I remembered the 40, 70mm worked quite well, I wasn't sure about the 21mm and couldn't find the answer anywhere.
