Komura 152mm f/3.5 lens?

I too do not know about this LF lens. However, I have several Komura 6x6 lens for my Bronica...very nice and I recently picked up a Komura 210mm LF lens in a copal 1 shutter of less than $100. Unless the price is crazy...I would recommend you purchase it. I think you can be close enough to your portrait subject to have a sufficiently filled 4x5 shot...and like you said...should have crazy bokeh.

I passed on a Komura 150mm f/2.8 lens for 5x4 years ago. The sheer weight of it would wrench the front off most cameras, no problem. That's if you could fit the

 

Anyway, why would you think a fast aperture would make a good portrait lens? What part of the sitter are you going to get in focus? The tip of their nose? Their chin? One eyeball? The left ear?
