I can't find any information on it but it seems that the fast apeture would make it a good potrait lens. Anybody have this and would like to contribute? (Unless you have 3/4 length portraits in mind.) I'd guess <em>most</em> headshots with 4x5 are done using something in the 210mm to 300mm range. However, I have several Komura 6x6 lens for my Bronica...very nice and I recently picked up a Komura 210mm LF lens in a copal 1 shutter of less than $100. Unless the price is crazy...I would recommend you purchase it. I think you can be close enough to your portrait subject to have a sufficiently filled 4x5 shot...and like you said...should have crazy bokeh. The sheer weight of it would wrench the front off most cameras, no problem. That's if you could fit the Anyway, why would you think a fast aperture would make a good portrait lens?
