How about charging <a href="http://www.photo.net/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?

msg_id=00J9Zy&tag=">this</a>,

<a href="http://www.photo.net/travel/vietnam/luong/">this (bottom of page)

</a>, and <a

href="http://www.photo.net/travel/vietnam/weinreb/index.html">this (bottom of

page)</a> some ad fee or membership fee? If not, I'm sure we'll eventually

have businesses peddling Viagras, organ enlargements, off-shore investings,

stock tips, etc.!

As just another of many here who have been on a network for decades and who believe in the idea of "Ask when you don't know, tell what you do know... for free", I say stomp on these spammers with vengance.

Advertisers should pay. See, we in turn spend our money with them. It works out.

We nuke 'em when we see 'em.

Thanks for the ad report.

Basically links to sites with useful photographic info related to the topic under discussion are OK. Links to any site which is primarily advertising (rather than information) are prohibited as well as any link to sites unrelated to the topic under discussion.

If people want to pay photo.net to run their cell phone ads, I assume Philip would be willing to listen to them. Don't think photo.net will be doing Viagra ads though, even for Leica users...(sorry, sorry, sorry, sometimes I just can't stop myself...:)
