greg_moss2
I placed an order online. Oops! My mistake. I called 2 minutes after they opened to cancel the order. Has it been shipped? No! Has it been packaged? No! Has the item been pulled off the shelf? No! Can I cancel the order? No! Just refuse the package when it comes. Now it has taken 46 days to get my credit card credited MINUS the shipping charges. Just venting my frustrations with the Canon E-store. I guess I'll keep using B&H for all orders! They were out of stock on the item.
synnacdesign
Man that blows:( Sorry to hear that Canon gave you such hassel...would have thought they would do a better job on the customer service side.
erictomenga
That's funny in an unfunny way. A web purchasing system I was working with back in the late 90's had the same issue. I guess they haven't figured out how to cancel an order yet. :-\
m3rdpwr
You bought it with a credit card, dispute it... -Mario
joshroot
Not to be a "i told you so" type. But I'm not sure why anyone would use a "company' store for any electronic purchase. B&H, Adorama, Samy's, etc all have better prices and customer service. Most of those "company" stores are farmed out to order fufilment services anyway, and they care even less about making the parent company's customers happy. greg_moss2
Interesting indeed. B&H was out of stock, as well as Adorama. Stranger yet...And then the part came from New Jersey. When it was returned to shipper, it went to a warehouse 20 miles from my home. (SC)
