Zenzanon PS 150/4.0

Hello,

I'm trying to replace a defective shutter on a Zenza Bronica Zenzanon

PS 150/4.0 (Tamron new style) lens. I've already done that on some old

Zenzanon S lenses. The procedure for the old S lens is quite simple:

remove the brand name ring, then remove the front optical assemblies,

remove the 3 barrel side screws, pull out the front barrel piece,

remove the back optical assembly, remove the screws fixing the back

ring and remove it, unsold the shutter wires, unscrew the ring fixing the

shutter at the holding plate, and finally take out the shutter from the front

side.

The PS lens type is very similar to the old S type but it lacks the 3

side screws and I don't know how to remove the front barrel piece. Any

suggestion?

Simple? I wouldn't be game to try! Where do you get the replacement shutters from? I've looked around and posted and I keep getting told they are out of production! [sorry i can't be any help to the main question]

Tamron Will Send you an exploded view diagram of the lens you need free of charge. I have an exploded view, but no way to scan righ now.

 

Also Koh's camera will service the lens for hald the price Tamron charges, and their reputation, even with the Tamron people is very high.
