feli
Can someone out there take a look through the viewfinder of their Sl and let me know if your viewfinder has a blue tint to it? About two years ago had my SL rebuilt and the prism block resilvered and can't remember if it was more neutral before hand. I seem to remember it alwaysbeing slightly blue... thanks, Feli
ronald_moravec1
I had two at once years ago. One was yellowish, one was bluish.
SCL
My SL2 is slightly yellow, but most people would classify it as neutral.
henry_dorsett2
The two of mine that have been to Sherry are on the yellow side(one was just cleaned up, the other got a new prism). The other two are blueish - not sure if that is a coincidence or a function of what Sherry did to the two I sent to her. As for why I have four SL's, thats another story... christopher_a._junker1
The long time expert on Leicaflex SL's is Douglas Herr out in California. He posts here from time to time. My viewfinder is very slightly blue.
gary e
Mine is slightly blue. Doesn't seem to bother me if used outdoors only indoors.
doug herr
Mine (4 of 'em) are neutral-to-warm with my left (dominant) eye, slightly bluish with my right eye.
