nels
Thanks, Glenn. The image stabilization on my lens helped just as much or perhaps more than steady hands. I was trying to get as much of the motion blur as possible without losing much sharpness in the hands.

GlennS
I'm enjoying your India shots Nels. I've done a lot of shooting in the Mirzapur area near Varanasi. There's a whole folder in my gallery on carpet weaving, going from yarn to finished product. All film using 3g or M4's.

nels
Glenn, you have a good eye and I enjoy seeing your work. Seems like you've spent quite a bit of time there and interacted with the local people at some length.
We went to a carpet dealer who unfortunately wasn't making any carpets at the time we were there, but he showed us some of the ingredients that go into the process. We only spent a few minutes there.
