matt_harrington1
Does anyone know if the K10D has an option to display gridlines? I didn't see it mentioned on dpreview.com's preview.
._._z
It doesn't have them
ben_rubinstein___mancheste1664880652
But according to the brochure that is around somewhere in PDF format, there will be replacement focusing screens including a grid one that will very certainly be finding its way into my K10D! brett_st_pierre
Was there something somewhere that indicated the focus screens we all new for the K10D? But if they are the same as the present screens, the excellent LL60 (*istD series) screen would be the one to get.
mawz
The Bright Matte II screens for the K10D will be an upgrade for the D if they are the same form factor (which I think is likely). They're notably brighter, which is how Pentax managed to make a Pentamirror that doesn't utterly suck.
bob_stevenson
Will it be possible to fit a 'real' screen with microprism ring and preferably split image rangefinder? is there anything like that listed by Pentax? Will the Samsung clone of K10D take pentax screens?
amul
I'm also interested in Ben's question regarding a focusing pentaprism screen. That would be darn useful, especially considering the SR compatibility with legacy lenses.
