Basic, embarassing question . . . please help a dummy!

I turned off the LCD screen image last time I used the D-200 and I can't figure out how to turn it back on!

I don't have my manual or cheat sheet with me.

AND, I have a wicked headache right now because I'm trying to shoot a macro image of a machine part for

someone halfway across the country. I need to see it in the LCD to set it up right. I'm using the 60mm

macro lens.

Somebody please tell me what button to push to turn the LCD screen back on.

Thanks.

Thanks guys,

I just found that out about the D70 too when I switched cameras. I'm not really a digital guy

but some things require an immediate image such as in this case. I got my photos and I

appreciate everyone responding quickly to help.

Pete

Pretty much all the DSLRs with interchangable lenses don't have live preview. The mirror blocks the sensor until the moment you press the shutter.

I think there's been a few fixed lens DSLRs that essentially have an electronic viewfinder that you view through; these usually have a 'live preview' LCD on the back as well. I'm not sure if there are any interchangable lens DSLRs with that feature set (outside of the relatively obscure Fuji UV/IR criminalist camera).
