jd_rose
It was noted in this forum that someone was working on putting digital guts into a mechanical Argus C3. Has anyone does that before? How did it turn out? Can you recommend a "diy" link? --- JDR
disneyry
Huw Finney is turning a Leica M2 into digital, I'm haven't heard of anyone doing that to anything else.

j.ed_baker
Several years ago, at the Argus Collectors Group annual gathering, I saw a C3 that had been converted to digital. Unfortunately I have lost the pictures and notes from that meeting.
jd_rose
John, You are probably right. I thought of that but wasn't really sure. I figured a classic person would like to see a classic used regardless of the fact that it had a modern drive train. Kinda like 1955 Chevy with a 1998 Corvette motor. gphoto
It's something I've considered doing, I have an argus brick and the Nikon S2000 digital back that Kodak made for the AP back in the 90's if I could figure out the pin outs on the back and connect that flash sync I might have a usuable camera. Might be an interesting project when i get the time.
