james mitchell dc
These pics are really impressive. Next time I fly, I'm going to dig out my Art Deco Argus with out-of-date Kodak Plus-X and kick some ass... Really, great work, Nels, Sheldon (phallic stuff...) and Mike. HarryBaker
I can't compete. Taking pictures at major airports in the UK causes concern (I've experienced it!). Here's one I took at Heathrow 40 years ago in quieter times.

lutz
Hi Nels, thanks for sharing your contact sheet. The Chinese Photoshopper is a tempting thought - what about a Swiss editor...? ;-) For me, personally, only 11:22 and 01:03 do it. They show a deliberate will to compose, or better put: will to bring everything together in one frame. The rest is much loser, compositionwise, just reacting (plus severely cropping) on what the architecture had to offer, but not adding to the obvious, not interpreting it. I don't mean to sound harsh, but since I like your portfolio in general, I just wanted to say: don't dilute it, not even if you get carried away on a long night longing for that Chinese... Photoshopper. ;-) Cheers!

nels
Lutz, Since the Swiss started drinking Red Bull, the famous neutrality seems to have gone the way of the Alpa. My current editor is based in the UK and to fire him would require a three months notice (or is it six months? I can't remember). So much for draconian European employment laws, eh? But send me your resume with references, and we'll talk. I like some of what I'm hearing, but I have a sneaking suspicion it's the Red Bull talking. Cheers! lutz
LOL, Nels! BTW, dodging the upper left corner of my humble contribution will confirm ayour wildest speculations...
Now, if Trevor(?) isn't going to sue you for this, how about a sporadic reciprocal off-line editing opinion - on a freelance base? ;-) Cheers.
Oh, and thx, Robert. nels
"how about a sporadic reciprocal off-line editing opinion - on a freelance base?" Sure. Let's take it in the parking lot outside. You and me. Let's go. Cheers! P.S. Send me e-mail. I'd love to hear your thoughts, Lutz.
