pjmeade
If I go to a portfolio, such as those of my interesting people and leave a comment on one of their photos, will I be able to rate that image in RR or will it be filtered out? It's not a big issue, just a matter of interest. Pete
yann_r.
that's a very good question, Pete.
bennyboy
From memory, I'm fairly sure I saw one come up in RR that I'd already commented on.
yann_r.
I've tried today Pete.
I left a comment on one before the photographer submits it for critique, and after, I've rated (anonymously) from the rate/recent page.
pjmeade
Yann, Ben, Thanks. I can't remember seeing a photo on RR that I've already commented on. I must get my nose back to the grindstone now. P
yann_r.
I must get my nose back to the grindstone now
Since I'm learning as well English than photography, may I ask you what does this mean?
pjmeade
Hello Yann, your written English is very good. "Nose to the grindstone" is a term for working. I think it may date back to the time when cutlery makers in Sheffield had to lie very close to a grindstone to work on knives (and forks). Very best wishes.
