Some problem -- Lens Flare

Pavel you are shooting against the sun. Some rays of sun got into your lens and the lens shows "flare" because of internal reflection in the lens.

Use a sunshade whenever possible and under conditions similar to your shot try to shade your lens e.g. by your hand. very often you can see an indication of flare already in the viewfinder, especially if you wave your hand in front of the lens. The difference between shaded and unshaded lens becomes visible.

Have you got a UV filter on your lens? The tint of the flare looks very similar to the green tinted flare I get when using a Nikon UV filter that I have.

As already stated, use a lens hood, or avoid shooting into or at an angle near to the sun, or shade the lens somehow.. even with your hand.

Removing a filter if o have one in place may lessen the chances of flare.

To verify flare is indeed the problem here, test with the same lens on your camera and with the sun in front of you in a similar situation and angle. You should be able to see the same problem in your viewfinder. When that happens, use your hand to shield the top of your lens similar to what a lens hood would do, and the flare should disappear in your viewfinder.

Again, sometimes even a lens hood is not enough. You may need to use a newspaper to create a larger, extended "lens hood" to block the stray light.

Hello,

I have the same problem with Lens Flare Effects. I am aware that the reason is shooting against the sun, but I use always a UV-Filter and a sun hood. The lens flare effect is reduced, but is there any filter that completely avoids this effect? I?ve made some researches and read about polarize filters. Is it helpful?

I would be glad about any helpful respond in this case.

Thank you.
